☺☺☺ Denzel and John Make a good teamThe Taking of Pelham 123 doesn’t come across as the typical hostage thriller. In this remake, Walter Garber (Denzel Washington), a subway dispatcher facing suspension, has to deal with Ryder (John Travolta), a hostile, former financial professional-turned-subway highjacker. Unprepared and unsure, Garber is placed into the uncomfortable position of negotiating with Ryder. The criminal grows strangely attached to Garber and requires him to bring his ransom money ($100,000). The two go back and forth throughout most of the movie without even seeing each other.
Both lead actors endured obvious changes for their roles.

There comes a time when we all must grow up. Nothing drives that home more than seeing an old friend get married, particularly when you’re in love with that friend.
The Last International Playboy is about player, Jack Frost (Jason Behr) who becomes disillusioned after his childhood love tells him she’s marrying someone else. After his attempts to persuade her to cancel the wedding fail, he spirals into depression, which includes alcohol and reckless behavior. The only person able to get through to him is his eleven year-old neighbor Sophie (India Ennenga). She delicately sprinkles him with unusual wisdom and constant optimism.
