Author Christopher Johnson has a bone to pick with comedian and radio personality Steve Harvey. Although he respects his success, Johnson takes issue with the comedian’s perspective on relationships and men. His frustration came to a head when he saw Harvey on ABC news a few weeks ago, telling women to date older men. He wrote a letter and read it on a video posted on YouTube. Entertainment Wire spoke with Christopher Johnson about why he’s angry and what he would like to say to Harvey.

Christopher Johnson Talks about why he doesn't like Steve Harvey's advice.

Why Did I Get Married, Too?☺ ☺ A Few Surprises

In 2007, Tyler Perry fans turned out in record numbers for Why Did I Get Married? his movie about four married couples grappling with fidelity and tragedy. The playwright-turned-producer/studio owner revisits the couples in this sequel with the same honesty and purpose but not quite as many fireworks.

In the sequel, the couples plan another retreat to answer the burning question (Why did I get married?). The well intentioned trip to the Bahamas quickly unravels as Sheila’s (Jill Scott) ex-husband, Mike (Richard T. Jones) appears at the retreat vying for her attention and getting on her new husband, Troy’s (Lamman Rucker) nerves. Shortly after Mike appears, the other couples began displaying their own problems. Terry (Tyler Perry) suspects his wife, Dianne (Sharon Leal) is cheating, Angela (Tasha Smith) still doesn’t trust her husband, Marcus (Michael Jai White) and Patricia (Janet Jackson) is still having trouble relating to her husband, Gavin (Malik Yoba) after their child’s death.

Although the plot deepens as the couples return home from the trip, certain parts of the movie could have used a little more development, such as the humor. Even Tasha Smith’s lines (usually some of the funniest parts of the movie) could have used a little more fine tuning. To keep from giving away the story line, I’ll stop here but I will say that audiences will be a little surprised with the direction of the movie.
